Announcement: MIRAI program 2017

On behalf of Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Japan in Norway is happy to announce that we are accepting applications for the short term invitation programme MIRAI 2017, a youth programme inviting about 150 graduate and undergraduate students from Europe, Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus to Japan.
 

The chosen candidates are invited to a one-week tour of Japan, 4–11 October 2017. Visits may include several top-notch technological and infrastructural sites, unique historical and cultural sites, and some academically beneficial opportunities including a seminar with Japanese students in Tokyo. The programme reception will be held in downtown Tokyo.
 

• Norwegian citizen
• Student enrolled at a university or college, in Norway or abroad, in one or more of the following fields: Political science, law, economics, history, journalism and area studies
• 20+ years old
• Have previously not spent more than 6 months in Japan

Please note that former participants in any Japanese Government invitation programme are not eligible to apply.
