Application deadline 10 July: MIRAI 2024 - Japan's Friendship Ties Program

On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Embassy of Japan in Norway is delighted to welcome applications from students in Norway to Japan's Friendship Ties Programme "MIRAI 2024". MIRAI aims to deepen participants’ understanding of Japan and its policies, to promote mutual understanding, and thus build a basis for future friendship and cooperation between Japan and other regions.

The MIRAI 2024 application deadline is 10 July 2024, 02:00 AM (CET).

During the MIRAI Visiting Japan Programme the successful candidates will participate in a one-week tour of Japan during the time period November 2024 to January 2025. The following thematic tours are open to applicants from Norway: Diplomacy and Security Policy (6-12 Nov); Economy and Business (6-12 Nov); Science and Technology (4-10 Dec); and Environment and Green (6-12 Nov).
