Ambassador Sugiyama's participation in the opening ceremony of "Hibakujumoku" exhibition at the Botanical Garden in Oslo

On the 6th of August, Ambassador Sugiyama participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Hibakujumoku” at the Botanical Garden in Oslo. The Ambassador expressed his appreciation to the organizers for the arrangement of the exhibition following the previous one which was held in Stavanger last summer.
Hibakujumoku are trees that survived the atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The trees displayed at the exhibition have been cultivated from the seeds of Hibakujumoku at the Botanical Garden and are exhibited alongside artwork by three Norwegian artists. The exhibition will run until the 10th of September 2025.
