Regarding Online Appointment Booking for Consular Services

Starting from May 2025, an online appointment booking will be required to visit the consular section of the Embassy of Japan in Norway for consular services such as visa applications and collections. During the transition period, walk-in services may still be available; however, priority will be given to scheduled appointments, and there may be waiting times. We appreciate your understanding.

(2) For the following services, online booking is not available. Please make a reservation via email（ryouji@os.mofa.go.jp）or phone（+47 22 01 29 00）:

• Application for Police Certificate
• Application for Working Holiday Visa

• Please bring valid photo ID (such as a passport or driver’s license) for identity verification upon entry.
• If you do not arrive within your reserved time without prior notice, your reservation will be canceled. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
