The Embassy of Japan seeks a Receptionist

Main Duties:
- handling telephone calls to the Embassy
- receiving guests to the Embassy
- handling mail and operating the franking machine
- booking pick-ups with the logistics company to send the Diplomatic pouch
- ordering and maintaining the appropriate stock of stationery and other office amenities
- other clerical work
- assisting diplomatic personnel
- excellent command of Norwegian and English
- good communication skills and a positive attitude
- competent computer skills
- Full time employee position to begin on 1 September 2022 (working hours: 8:30-16:00, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday);
- Overtime may be required from time to time; overtime allowance to be calculated at an hourly rate stipulated by the Embassy;
- Salary will depend upon the education and experience of the successful candidate but is expected to be approximately NOK30,000- 32,500 per month.
