Interview & examination:
The Embassy will perform primary screening of applicants by means of submitted documents. Successful candidates will be contacted for interviews. A performance test is also conducted, lasting approximately one hour, during the interview.

Main Duties:
- Manage scheduling and arrange new meetings and appointments
- File and update contact information
- Draft letters, receive and distribute relevant information to/from internal and external sources by telephone, email, or in person.
- Undertake occasional receptionist duties
- Handle communication with Norwegian authorities and the diplomatic corps and other relevant organizations
- Assist organization of Embassy events
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree or above (university or university college)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English (Additionally, good command of the Japanese language would be an advantage)
- Proven work experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant
- Solid command of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Norwegian society
- Cooperative personality and positive attitude
Conditions:
- Full-time employee position to begin on 2 May 2022 (working hours: 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
- Some overtime will be required on occasions; overtime allowance to be calculated at an hourly rate as stipulated by the Embassy
- Salary will depend upon the education level and experience of the successful candidate but is expected to be approximately NOK 30,000 to 35,000 per month.
